I am a woman who once allowed fear to take control of her life, but by the grace of God, I overcame the obstacles and hurdles in my life. I was once that person who smiled on the outside but was hurting on the inside. I lacked self-confidence and self-worth. I didn’t know who I was or what my purpose or calling was, so I pretended to be someone else. I was a person who gave more of herself than what a person put back into her. I was afraid to show weakness, so I drew from my inner strength to hide the scars as I became a butterfly who survived.
I am a woman who was once broken but has developed the strength to put the shattered and broken pieces back together to be made whole again.

Today, I am a survivor who was once shattered, broken, stepped on, pushed to the side, and left out to die. But by the grace of God, I survived. I am a woman of faith. I am a woman of integrity, character, and self-worth. I am a daughter of a King. I come from royalty. I have a purpose. I was called to be unique, to stand out from the rest and to be chosen by the best. My butterfly wings are different from the rest. I was set apart and made to be distinct. I am free. I am me. I may have some scars, imprints from wounds, but when I see the colors, designs, and shapes that formed this beautiful butterfly, I see a winner.
